Welcome to the Cassiopeia Schooner Project
Our Mission
We are building a fleet of six wooden schooners to carry international crews of experts and professionals from various walks of life on a humanitarian mission to promote environmental sustainability, cultural understanding, and peace to ports around the globe.
The journey is underway
Harold Neel, USCG Captain, world sailor, and author of the book From the Bottom Up, is leading the effort aboard his vessel, Cassiopeia, the project’s namesake. Cassiopeia will serve as the model for the other six ships to be built.
